Alfred Van Fulkerson flew peace-

Alfred was born at home in Citrus Heights, Calif., on December 22, 1926 to Orval Ralph Fulkerson and Ora Belle LaRue Fulkerson.
Alfred served in the US Navy during World War II aboard the USS Soubarissen. In 1949 he married Betty Jean Kimbrell and their daughter, LaNora Ann was born in 1962. Alfred and Betty ministered throughout Calif., in the 1950's before founding and pastoring Christian Believer's Fellowship in Sacramento in 1960. While in Calif., Alfred earned his pilots license.

He moved his family to Alaska in 1974 where he worked on the Trans-Alaska pipeline and retired from the Carpenter's Local Union in 1984. Good memories of grandpa marrying Abe and Abby, June 24th, 2006. He shared in their joy and was joyful in the celebration and births of his great grand children. He left a legacy of loving God and passionate of sharing God's Word. My prayer is his legacy of Godliness will continue many generations and the good he began will continue forward and multiply abundantly.

The God of comfort is near to those that are broken at heart, and promises us that he will undo all the effects of death, and remove death itself.

Alfred was a man of God and always spoke life into those he interacted with; a real Pastor. He will be missed but we know he is with his Lord. We trust that God will give peace and comfort to family and friends. Love to all the family.

I remember meeting your Dad Lanora, when you were shopping for furniture at Sadlers. You could see the love of God on him. So sorry for your loss. Becky Cook-Hamsley
