Annice Read Obituary

Annice Jo Read
4/22/1941-6/29/2016
Our Beloved Mom, Sister, Grandma, Great Grandma, loving companion and friend was called home to Heaven on June 29, 2016. Jo was born in Ely, Nevada on April 22, 1941. She was a giving, kind and loving soul and had genuine faith in the Lord Jesus. She was the youngest of three sisters and they went on many ""sisters trips"" that were full of adventure. Jo's heart was always in Graniteville, a little mountain town, it was her second home. A tree will be planted there in memory of her. Jo retired from Pacific Bell and worked at the Folsom Walmart for 10 years.
Annice is survived by her three children; Michelle Ritchie, Cheryl Read and Kevin Read as well as sisters Maureen Vaught and Sandra Archer.
Services will be held on Friday, August 5 at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Orangevale, 8998 Central Ave., Orangevale, Calif. Our family sends their love and prayers to those who are missing her. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the family, to help ease their burden. Send in care of Michelle Ritchie and family, 6922 Vera Cruz Court. Citrus Heights, CA 95621

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Jo was a sweet person. We were classmates, she played in my Bunco group when we needed a sub. I would always look for her when I visited the Folsom Walmart.
RIP friend!

I used to stop by Walmart to visit every time I came to town. I last visited in early June and we had a nice chat and reminisced our days at the phone company. I will miss our catch up sessions. RIP Jo!
