Charlie "Bruce" Fields
1952 - 2010

Roseville resident, passed away July 21,2010, at age 58. Bruce waged a courageous 19 month battle with brain cancer.
Beloved husband to Jean. Devoted father to Dorian (dec.), Kiersten and Brandon. Preceded in death by mother Flora, father Alvie and Lucius. Loving brother to siblings in Mississippi and on both coasts; adored by sister-in-laws Jojo and Karon, loved by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunties and uncles.
Bruce dedicated his adult life on designing and developing medical products to improve and enhance the lives of others and holds numerous patents for his work. He treasured his friendships near and far. He especially enjoyed golf, the 49ers and SF Giants. His generous spirit, beautiful smile and sense of humor will be missed by all.
A Memorial service will be a held at a later date to be announced.

There really are no words that fully convey how sorry we are that you have lost your Love, your Partner and your Best Friend. Just know that we are always here for you, however and whenever you need us.

Kiersten and Brandon-
You had the best Dad in the world! He loved you both so much, it was amazing. Know, though he is gone, that he will always be by your sides. Rooting for you, loving you, giving you the biggest hugs ever. Still supporting you and telling you he Loves you.

Bruce-
You touched our hearts deeply. You are truly one of a kind, and we will miss you terribly.

We miss your Smile, the Love you emanated, the Laughter you generated, and the happiness that followed you where ever you went.

We are truly grateful to have been lucky enough to have you in our Lives.

Bruce's Memorial Service/Celebration will be held Sat. Aug 14th from 12 Noon to 2pm at Martha Riley Community Library, 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Roseville, CA Please feel free to prepare a story or experience you shared with Bruce with all of us at that time.
