Ernest Fred Haenny
1/11/1938-2/16/2018

Ernest "Ernie" Fred Haenny passed away on Feb 16, 2018 at the age of 80 years young. He grew up in Newcastle, Calif with his dad and mom, Fred and Eva Haenny and his three step-brothers. His passion was hunting and fishing. He shot his first buck at the age of 12. After graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force and learned how to work on airplanes. He then left the Air Force and became an auto mechanic. He met Patricia Ackerman, they married in November 23, 1963 and moved to Auburn, where Ernie spent the rest of his life. He leaves behind his daughter, Traci Wilson; three stepdaughters, Sandi Seeley, Dana Bramblet and Robin Humphrey; two sons in law, Mark Wilson and Rick Humphrey; three grand- children, Jesse, Taylor and Colton Wilson, as well as three great grandchildren.
The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday May 5 at 1 p.m. at Ernie's childhood home at 1260 Newcastle Road in Newcastle.
