The beloved husband of Anne Hauber and father of daughters, Marilyn Hauber and Karen Hauber and a veteran of World War II, passed away April 2, 2010 at the age of 85.
Len and Anne were married for 63 years. He loved this free country and served with the U.S. Navy in the Japanese Theater as a radioman on a P.T. boat. Born in Chicago, he was one of nine children. He lived for many years in Park Ridge, Illinois, where he was a member of the Shriners and Scottish Rite. Following a career in business, he and Anne retired to Sun City, Roseville in 1994.
He is survived by his wife, daughters, and sons-in-law, Craig Brewick and Colin Grahl.
Len was a life-long fan of the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears. While in California, he was a dedicated volunteer at the Placer S.P.C.A. Len Hauber was a member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Citrus Heights. He lived and loved intensely. We will dearly miss him.
Friends are welcome for visitation Wednesday April 7, 2010 from 4 to 8 p.m. at PRICE FUNERAL CHAPEL (6335 Sunrise Blvd., Citrus Heights, 725-2109) and are invited to attend services Thursday 10 a.m. at the LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE ASCENSION. (7607 Garden Gate Way, Citrus Heights). Interment Roseville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Placer S.P.C.A. or to Lutheran Church of the Ascension.
