Michael Hagans Obituary
3/24/1952-5/30/2018
On Wednesday, May 30, our hero passed away peacefully surrounded by his girls after a valiant fight with immense courage and dignity.
Born to William and Helen Hagans in Sacramento, Mike was a loving husband to Kim, beloved father to Jerra and Jalee and proud owner of Hagans Roofing for 35 years.
Mike was survived by siblings Pat (Laurie) and Pam (Jim), as well as his father and stepmother Mary-Ellen. Brother-in-law to Sally Hagans, Shannon Harden and Jeff Harden, and uncle to Cameron, Chris (Leah), Matt (Julie), Lindsay, Jason (Melissa), Lauren and Bethanie, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother Helen, mother-in-law Marilyn Harden and brother-in-law Randy Harden.
Services will be held June 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Sierra View Country Club in Roseville

So competitive he beat us all to Heaven! Our family met the Hagans summer 2001 when our daughter Sami was on swim team in Jalees age group. We spent the next 10 or so years of summer Saturdays with them. Mike loved his girls fiercely.All three of you were strong radiant and gracious at Mikes memorial (standing room only!) which was the proper send off for a King.He was such a big presence:when Hagans showed up it was time to get busy working (or having fun!) Kim,you were the platinum "setting" for this diamond of a man. . . your support always held him up and allowed him to shine.
Our God is the God of the living not the dead so lets finish our part of this "relay"(Hebrews 12:1) and in due time laugh with Mike again.

I had no idea of Mike's illness and was taken back when I read the news. We knew each other for over 50 years and would run into each other from time to time sharing lots of laughs. I will miss those occasional moments and know he will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to the family.

I am so sad to hear of Mike's passing, We were best friends and roommates for years, we also rode Norton motorcycles together. Mike always had a smile on his face and was a very good man. Kim, you and your family have my deepest sympathy.

We will miss you dearly Mike. The shop is not the same without your visits. I will never forget the fishing trip you took Larry, Eric and myself on and I caught my first and only Salmon. It is a treasured memory for sure. Please save us a fishing spot by the river and we will all meet you soon. From all of us at the shop and our entire family, we love you and thank you for being such a dear friend.

Kim, I just read this sad news this morning. I am so very sorry. There are just no words. Jessica and Clint also are just sad to hear this. Mike was So Wonderful to us and my kids always had so much fun with him. I'll pray for you and the girls. Sending my love and hugs to you.
