Richard Schoenhoff Obituary

Richard L. A. Schoenhoff
12/04/1938 - 09/03/2015

We are saddened to announce the sudden death of Richard Schoenhoff on September 3, 2015.
Born in Colorado on December 4, 1938, Richard lived in Granite Bay, California, with his wife Linda, where they raised daughters Erika Krieger and Britt Schoenhoff. Richard is also survived by his brothers Robert, Don, and Leon; his sister Marilyn Paxton; son-in-law Tim Patterson; daughter-in-law Amanda Krieger; and his two grandsons, Andreas and Marcus Krieger.
After graduating from Sacramento High, Richard received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute. He went on to receive a Master of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley. His love of art, fishing, and travel never left him; he resumed painting after many years working in commercial construction. He will be greatly missed.
A memorial gathering will be held October 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hidden Valley Community Clubhouse in Granite Bay, Calif. Take Auburn Folsom Road to West Lane, then follow the signs.
