I came to Auburn in 1983 to start a new job and look for an apartment to rent. What I found was a home and a second Mom. I'll always be grateful for the 18 years I spent with Alice on Frederick Street. Light and love to you always.

Robert, so sorry to see of your mom's passing. Not sure if you will remember me. I lived in the upstairs apartment when Campo's were downstairs and Fiermonte's up over you. We lost my mom in 1995 and my dad last summer. Alice will live on in your hearts as does my mom and dad.

Bob, So sorry to learn of your mothers passing. Before our last class reunion, she gave me your address --so she knew me each time after that and she always spoke, always so pleasant. I will miss seeing and talking to her inside the door at Boyle Center.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We always looked forward to seeing her walking in our neighborhood. We loved her umbrella hat she wore to keep herself cool.

We will always have a memory of Alice's quick wit and her constant friendly nature. It was a pleasure to have her as a good friend and neighbor here at the Boyle building. We will miss her very much. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to her entire family, especially to her son Robert and his dear wife. May God bless her passing.

Alice was the secretary at Genesee Street School when I began my teaching career in Auburn. She was extremely knowledgeable, capable, and efficient. Although Alice "ran a tight ship", she was ever helpful, generous, and caring, particularly to a new, inexperienced teacher. She had a sharp wit and terrific sense of humor. I will always have fond memories of Alice and her husband Pat. My heartfelt condolences go to her family.
