David Cadwallader Obituary
AUBURN | Mr. David J. Cadwallader Sr., 84, formerly of South Seward Avenue, Auburn, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Crown Nursing Home, Cortland.
An Auburn native, he was the son of Sumner and Mary Nolan Cadwallader; a graduate of Auburn East High School and Auburn Business School. He had retired from NYS EG, after being employed in the business services area for many years. His wife, Wilma Roberts Cadwallader, predeceased him in 1994.
David loved to read, and was an avid collector of books. He was a sports enthusiast, and always enjoyed listening to Big Band Music.
Surviving children are David J. (Audrey) Cadwallader Jr., of Auburn, and Stephen P. (Jenny) Cadwallader, of Auburn; granddaughter, Samantha Cadwallader; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents; wife; brothers, William and Charles, and sister, Jean Nagle.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming. Arrangements are with Farrell's Funeral Service Inc., 84 South St., Auburn.
