Dorothy Eleanor Hollenbeck

CORONA, Calif. < Dorothy Eleanor Hollenbeck, 90, of Corona, Calif., passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, at Cypress Gardens Convalescent Hospital. Dorothy was born Nov. 5, 1916, in Auburn. She was a self-employed bookkeeper for 30 years. Dorothy was a member of Business Girls, volunteer Pink Lady at Corona Regional Medical Center, volunteer for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed bowling. Dorothy is survived by her son, Paul Hollenbeck of Corona, Calif.; daughter, Deborah (Hollenbeck) Tryzna; three grandchildren, Geoffrey Hollenbeck and Dolly-Dorothy Hollenbeck, both of Corona, Calif. and Jennifer Caughman of Ontario, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Maria Carmen Serrato of Riverside, Calif.; two great-grandchildren, Timothy Caughman and Emily Caughman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Hollenbeck. Visitation and services were held Friday, Feb. 2, at the Thomas Miller Mortuary. There are no local calling hours or funeral services. Spring burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Throop. Local arrangements are entrusted to Langham Funeral Home LLC of Auburn. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
