Frederick Vivenzio Obituary

Frederick J. Vivenzio III

December 6, 1956 - June 27, 2025

Frederick J. Vivenzio III, "Freddie V." 68, of Sennett, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on December 6, 1956, in Auburn, Fred was the son of Marlene Tamburo Vivenzio and the late Frederick Vivenzio. A proud military veteran, he served in the United States Air Force as a young man. Fred worked as an inside salesman at F.W. Webb in Syracuse, retiring happily in 2023.

Fred was a passionate New York Mets fan and cherished time spent at the family's hunting camp. He had a love for cooking and was always experimenting with new recipes-usually with The Moody Blues playing in the background. He also enjoyed traveling, especially taking day trips to wineries and breweries, and proudly considered himself a bourbon connoisseur. More than anything, Fred loved spending time with his wife of 44 years, his children, and his beloved grand-puppies.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Joanne Christiantelli Vivenzio; his son, Mark Vivenzio (Brittany Merkley); and his daughter, Marissa Vivenzio. He is also survived by his mother, Marlene Vivenzio; two brothers, Bob Vivenzio (Terri) and Michael Vivenzio (Michele); and three sisters, Tina Neabel (Nick), Sherry Musso, and Terry Hensel (Steve). Fred will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his cherished grand-puppies, Zoey, Luna, Pork, and Mocha.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 12 to 2 p.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South Street, Auburn. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Hospice of the Finger Lakes.
