Gary Colbert

AUBURN - Gary Colbert, 87, formally of Stryker Homes, died Friday, June 23, 2017, in Auburn Community Hospital. A native of Auburn, Gary retired as a Corrections Officer and worked in Auburn Correctional Facility. He enjoyed his breakfast time every morning, either at Arnold's Diner in Weedsport or with his coffee crew at the West End McDonald's. He is survived by two daughters, Fawn Marks and Mindy Paquette, and her husband Donald, both of Weedsport; one stepson, John McCaddin of Auburn; one stepdaughter, Dawn McCaddin of Weedsport; two brothers, Bob Colbert and Terry and his wife Trudy, both of Auburn; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, William and Dorothy Taylor Colbert, Gary is predeceased by his sister Donna. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
