As one of George's many grandchildren, I speak for all of us when I say that we were very fortunate to have grown up with Grandpa Komer. He was wise, funny, kind, smart, and above all loved his family unconditionally. He had quite a sense of humor and was a wonderful story teller. He always had a trick to show us, wisdom to impart, or some story that we weren't always sure if he was telling us a tall tale or not--but then he would give us that sly smile and we knew that he got us once again. Grandpa Komer (George) was an amazing man, husband, grandfather (great and great-great!) and I am so thankful that our family was able to have him as long as we did. Rest easy, Grandpa. You will be missed!
Love,
Vickey (Myers) Davidson
