John Cregg Obituary
AUBURN - John J. Cregg Jr., 92, of Auburn, passed away Jan. 27, 2019.
Born in Rochester on Nov. 16, 1926, John was the son of the late John Sr. and Florence Ryan Cregg. John proudly served his country while in the United States Navy from 1944-1946. He was an excellent pool player and a very difficult competitor, but enjoyed the challenge.
John is survived by his siblings, Betty (Fred) Pfeifer, Carol (John) Connors, and Robert Cregg.
Along with his parents, John was predeceased by his sisters, Kitty Boni, Mary Woods Bergin, and Helen Paul.
Arrangements are with White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., Auburn, and will be held privately for the family.
Donations in John's name may be made to Hospice of the Finger Lakes, 1130 Corporate Drive, Auburn, NY 13021.
