Kenneth James Lillie, 66, left us April 11, 2024 following an extended illness. Born in Auburn, NY, the son of the late Harold and Katherine (Shanahan) Lillie, Ken was a graduate of Moravia High School and lived in Cayuga County throughout his life.

Ken started his manufacturing career at Auburn Spark Plug in 1975 and retired from Baxter (Welch Allyn) in 2023. Ken was an avid gardener, dry stack stone mason and nature photographer. He followed all sports especially, the New York Yankees and Jets.

Above everything, Ken loved and cherished his family and large circle of friends. He's survived by his wife of 32 years, Karen Thomas-Lillie, beloved son Connor Lillie, brothers David (Cathy) Lillie, Bert Lillie (Larry Chawgo), sister-in-law Diane Lillie, nieces Jennifer (Jim), Christine (Ben), Samantha (Chad), seven great nieces and nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Raymond, Richard and Thomas Lillie.

A private celebration of Ken's life will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Ken's memory to the Matthew House 43 Metcalf Drive Auburn, NY 13021.

Ken was a great guy to have as a friend. We grew up in the same neighborhood in Moravia and I have fond memories of that time. I didn´t see him a whole lot over the years afterward but when we saw each other we had great conversations. I will miss seeing him around and always remember his great smile. Rest in peace my friend.
