ELLINGTON, Conn. | Mary (Yaworsky) Starowicz, 93, of Ellington, Conn., died peacefully Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016. She was born Oct. 9, 1922 in Clearfield, Pa., to the late Joseph and Julia (Lepak) Yaworsky. She worked in the insurance industry as an accounts manager prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Rice and her husband, Clifford; her son, David Starowicz and his wife, Linda; her grandchildren, William Rice and his wife, Amy, of Boston, Mass., Steven Rice and his wife, Hailey, of East Hartford, Conn., and David Rice and his wife, Jennifer, of Windsor, Conn.
Relatives and friends may join the family from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville, CT. A funeral home service will take place at 11 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Rockville.
