Michael Bochenek Obituary

Michael J Bochenek, "Mike, Bo, Mikey-Jon", born September 16, 1978, passed away on September 24, 2025. Michael was born and raised in Auburn, NY where he was always busy playing sports, watching the Yankees and Bills, and spending time with friends and family. He especially excelled at football where he was a force to be reckoned with on the offensive line. Michael also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father. He built many close bonds and lifelong memories during his days with the "Madison Crew". Michael became a corrections officer and spent nearly twenty-five years at Five Points Correctional Facility. After retirement he recently relocated to St Augustine, FL. Michael is survived by his wife Jennifer, daughters Makenna and Alyssa, stepdaughter Hannah Wasney (Brandon Ross), father and mother Peter and Pamela Bochenek, brothers Jared (Shantel Chambers) and Scott (Elizabeth) Bochenek, and several nieces and nephews. Michael will be deeply missed by those that had the pleasure to know him. As were his wishes there will be no service or ceremony. In Michael's honor please make extra effort to always be kind and give love to your friends and family.

Went to school with Bo and had many a great laughs over the years. Lost touch with him after we graduated but he was always one of the guys I remembered more than others. My sympathies to his family, may he rest in peace.
