AUBURN | Thomas M. Weaver Jr., 34, the fiancé of Karrisa Werner, of Fleming, died unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013.
Born in Auburn, Tom attended Union Springs schools. He was considered a "jack of all trades," most notably working as a mason. He was self-employed and self-driven, letting the quality of his workmanship stand for who he was. Tom lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed "working hard and playing hard." If you had the pleasure of meeting Tom, you would have never forgotten him.
In addition to his fiancé, Karrisa, he is survived by two sons, Tommie III and Joe; one baby daughter, Sophia; his father, Thomas M. Weaver Sr. and his wife, Beth; mother, Barbara Weaver; three brothers, Michael Weaver (Jessica), Steven Weaver (Stefanie), and Zachery VanOrman; three sisters, Stephanie Berry (Aaron), Allison, and Nicole Weaver; a grandmother, Concetta "Tina" Weaver; a nephew, Mason, and several loving great-aunts, great-uncles, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tom was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Edward and Pauline Pratt; paternal grandfather, Richard C. Weaver, and uncle, Richard J. Weaver.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Church with the Rev. Frank Lioi officiating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Mausoleum. Calling hours for Tom will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., 1778 Clark Street Road, Auburn.
