AUBURN - Virginia Dewey, 88, of Auburn, died Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Commons on St. Anthony. Virginia was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of Nicholas J. and Mary Okepna Pastushan. She was a graduate of Syracuse University. For a number of years she owned and operated Quick as a Wink Oil Co.
She is survived by her brother, Nicholas (Lynne Anne) Pastushan, of Cape Coral, Fla.; her nephew, Nicholas (Allyson) Pastushan, of New Canaan, Conn., and her good friend, Linda Kerr, of Los Angeles, Calif.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon Dewey in 2001.
Funeral services for Virginia will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 8, at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends are invited to call starting at 1 p.m. on Monday prior to the service.
