Wayne, Mike and Family,
I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Steed. Your Mom was a vital link in the chain and just like a Mom to many of us raised in the neighborhood back in the day. Always a smile and always an encouraging word. We were allowed to have good, wholesome fun, and to this day I appreciate it.
I know this a difficult time, but I encourage each of you to cherish the moments and live vigorously in her legacy.
May God continue to Bless you all.

It goes without saying that I am sadden about your Mother's passing. I cannot begin to know the sorrow that you and the rest of the family are felling, however I just wanted you to know that we all Love you and are here for all of you. Your Mother was special to me. Whenever I would call you when I first entered the Army she would answer the phone and say " Marcia, the Holiday Man is on the phone". She knew that every holiday from Ground Hog Day, to Christmas that I would be calling. Over the years I went from" Holiday Man" to Richard and then I knew I had been accepted as her Unofficial Son-in-law.A title I wear with love and pride. It is with tear filled eyes that I say, may you and the rest of the family be able to find some comfort in knowing that your Mother is at peaceful rest, in GOD's loving arms.
