Cissy, Joe, Jimmy, and Mary Ruth, I know that Angela will be missed. The Lord blesses us with our children and sometimes He takes them home before we are ready. Sometimes we don't know why things happen but we do know that God is always there to help through the pain. May He wrap His arms around you and keep you as you go through this loss.

Cissy, I have known you for many years and Jimmy, I have known you since Sunday School at First Baptist. I only had met Angela a few times, but after reading the comments from those who knew her, she was a beautiful woman both outside and inside.

She and Jim are now united for eternity in God's paradise. Rejoice in knowing that some day you will be reunited with them forever.

God Bless and keep you always,

DANA ALLEN (BROOKS)

Angela White was my English teacher at the time of this tragic accident. After finding out what happened, I was emotionally distraught since I had just seen her in class on Tuesday and watched her walk down the sidewalk. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. May she rest in peace.

My husband Kyle and I met Angela in August 2000, the beginning of our first semester at UGA. She and I had been office-mates since then, sharing not only our space together but also our lives. We swapped teaching techniques, laughed, talked, and empathized. She was a wonderfully sweet human being with genuine kindness and natural charm. Angela will be sorely missed by all who ever met her.

Both Kyle and I were devastated to learn about Angela and Jim's tragic accident, and our prayers are with their families.

I remember meeting Angela. She was just born and her mother was holding her. I was with Susan, one of Angela's aunts. We were so excited to see her! We thought what a beautiful baby and such a pretty name. Now God is holding this blessed angel in His care. We will miss her.

Angela will be greatly missed. I am so saddened by this loss to the UGA community and to me personally. She was an outstanding person, truly one of a kind. My sympathies are with you that knew her best; I know your loss is tremendous. I have only known her for two years, and in that time discovered in her a truly unique and caring individual with a great smile and open heart. She was a joy to work with and be around. Her presence will always be with us in Park Hall, as I'm sure it will be always with you.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Angela's death. She was my student in two classes--as an undergraduate and as a graduate student. She had a lively intelligence and a sweet personality. I want to express my deepest sympathies to her family. She will be missed by many, but her memory is a blessing to all who knew her.
