Ann Cross Obituary

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Ann Kirbo Norris Cross, 78 , wife of Mr. Barney Cross, entered into rest Thursday, June 29, 2006, at University Hospital, Augusta, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 2, 2006, at Harlem United Methodist Church, Ga., with the Rev. Roger Vest officiating. Interment will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson, Ga. Survivors include her husband, Barney Cross; her daughter, Julie Weeks and son-in- law Howard, Harlem; one son, Tommy Norris and daughter-in-law Cindy, Martinez; two sisters, Nona McCranie and Ronnie Brooks, both of Albany; one brother, W.W. Kirbo, Camilla, Ga.; two grandsons, Adam and Chandler Norris, Martinez; and three step-daughters, Bonnie Sandfelder, Roswell, Brenda Cross, Kingsland, and Becki Trujillo, California.; and many nieces and nephews.; and step-grandchildren, Heather Grubbs, North Augusta, Travis Weeks, Marietta, Ben, Amanda, and Daniel Sandelder, of Roswell. Pallbearers will be Lee Kirbo, Frank Books, Rob Brooks, Kevin Brooks, Gerald Goodroe, Joe Brisendine, Bill McCracken, Adam Norris and Chandler Norris If so desired, memorials may be made to Harlem United Methodist Church, PO 39, Harlem, GA 30814. The Family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Starling Funeral Home, Hwy 78, Harlem, Ga. - Email condolence to the family at [email protected].
