Anna Crabtree Obituary
Mrs. Crabtree was a native of Tennessee, having made Aiken County her home for the past 66 years. She was a member of Belvedere First Baptist Church and the Lucy Pearson Sunday School Class. Mrs. Crabtree retired from the Savannah River Site with 30 years of service. She was a generous and loving person who took great joy in serving others. Mrs. Crabtree enjoyed baking and giving special treats to family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband T.L. Crabtree and her son, Stephen Lee Crabtree.
Survivors include a sister, Clova L. Caldwell, Knoxville, TN; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Ruth Crabtree, Columbia, SC; four nephews, Robert L. Ridge, Hazel Green, AL, Charles W. Caldwell, Knoxville, TN, Dennis E. Blevins, Nashville, TN and Rodney L. Blevins, Sweetwater, TN; two nieces, Judy R. Stowe, San Antonio, TX and Rose D. Smith, Louisville, KY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday one hour prior to the service.

Pam, Andy and I are so sorry for your loss. We know how much you and Mrs. Crabtree cared for each other. You were bonded together. With the loss of Steve and Mr. Crabtree you became closer. You never forgot a holiday without remembering her. You cooked meals, brought gifts, and drove to Augusta to be with her so she was never alone on the holidays. (And not just the big holidays, the little ones too.) You would faithfully drive to Augusta pick her up and bring her to Columbia just to leave flowers at Steve's Tomb. And whenever she was up to the journey, you would drive to Tenn. to visit with her family. We express out condolences to you to her family. May you remember the joy and love she bought to you all.
