WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Mr. Billy Gene Weatherford, 63, beloved husband of forty-six years to Claudia Cato Weatherford, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 29th, 2014. Born in and a resident of Aiken County, SC most of his life, he was a son of the late Tillman Buck and Dorothy Workman Weatherford. He was a Surveyor/Engineer and was very proud of being part of the upstart of Plant Vogtle. He was a Past Master of Horsecreek Masonic Lodge #174, AFM, Langley, SC. Billy Gene was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and carpentry. More than anything however, he enjoyed spending time with his twenty-seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, parents, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, family members include his children, Sletha (Brian) Turner, Augusta, GA, the late Billie Jean (Virgil) Ready, North Augusta, SC, Faith Clark-Small (Troy) Saluda, SC, Chad (Lynn) Weatherford, Beech Island, SC and Roy (Julia) Weatherford, Clearwater, SC and siblings, Linda Fay (Carl) Watkins Langley, SC and Tillman Ardis (Donna) Weatherford, Jr., Bath, SC. In accordance with his wishes, Billy Gene will be cremated and a masonic service conducted by Horsecreek Masonic Lodge will be held on Monday, February 3rd, 2014, at 6 o clock in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC. It has been requested that memorials in memory of Billy Gene be made to the charity of your choice. Visit to leave a message of condolence for the family and to share memories of Billy Gene. Friends will be greeted by the family on Monday following the masonic service until 8 o clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC.

you were always blessed by such a large family and extended family . that truly loved you . that is gods greatest gift . you will always be in our hearts and memories for which they will never die . I love cuz . you know you're my favorite .
