Played along side with BT in the ACS band for 3 years. I'd play bass drum while he played snare. I had alot of good memories with BT. He was one of the smartest guys I've ever known.

Pastor Maria Rivers and family,

We were sadden to hear of your son, Blanton passing but you have our deepest sympathy. We don't know the words to say to comfort you at this time, but we do know how to pray.

Most precious and everlasting father, who sits high and looks low; we ask your blessing over this family in their time of sorrow. We know that their hearts ache from the loss of their loved one. Comfort them O' merciful God so that they will be strong for each other. Guide them through the painful tomorrows and give them strength in this, their time of bereavement. For this we pray, in Jesus name, Amen.

To Maria and family,

May the loving memories of Blanton's young life be a solace to you and the family.

We can not begin to understand what or how you feel at this time but God does. What an honor it was to have a son who was so gifted and bright! We believe that God gave him to you because He knew that you would raise him according to His will and purpose. He also knew that at the appropriate time you would be the one strong enough to let him go to do the Master's will.
