Bobby "Bryon" Haygood

Truck Driver GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at the residence. Mr. Bobby 'Bryon' Haygood of Wilkins Road. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Ray Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Pass-Worth Cemetery. Mr. Haygood was preceded in death by his mother, Margie Shumake; sister Diane Wickert; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Bertha Haygood; and maternal grandfather Tom Chavous. Survivors include his father, Bobby Haygood and wife Catherine of Calhoun; step-father, David Shumake, Augusta; maternal grandmother, Edna Williams; sisters, Patty Frost and Cindy Turner both of Grovetown; step-brothers, Ricky Witt, Adairsville, Randy Witt, Rome; step-sisters, Tina Rickett, Calhoun, Sam Witt, Adairsville, and nieces and nephews. Mr. Haygood was born in Calhoun, Ga. and was a truck driver for Kennesaw Trucking. He was of the Baptist faith. Pallbearers will be Toby Farris, Tony Maddox, Tony Smith, Chris Smith, Charles Hartley, Wesley Chavous, and Doug Chavous. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, Md. 20814 The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m.. at the funeral home.
