MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Carlton Junior Black, 81, beloved husband of Mrs. Polly Cartledge Black, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Kiokee Baptist Church, Appling, GA. with Dr. John Robinson and Rev. Stephen Black officiating. Burial will follow at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Mitchell, GA. at 3:00 PM A native of Augusta, GA. Mr. Black was retired transpiration driver for Gulf/ BP. After retirement he started working in parts delivery for Bob Richards Toyota. He was a member of Lighthouse Ministries Services (ALMS). Mr. Black was a US Army veteran. Additional survivors include his two daughters, Teresa Chaney and Jennifer Hogan (Stacy); four grandchildren, Rodney Chaney, Gabriel Hogan, Eli Hogan and Hannah Hogan. Mr. Black was preceded in death by his parents, John Carl Black and Pearl Gregg Black, his four brothers and three sisters.
