Rev. Shipman and I had only brief momments together for a hand shake after service whenever I visited Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, where he was the Pastor, and I thanked him for the messages from the Messengers. I was the beneficiary of to of his sermons and, I admired him as a Man of God, sent by God to preach the Gospel in accordance with the Holy Scriptures. To his family, you have my deepest sympathy on the passing of your loved one, and I pray that God grant you peace and comfort during this sorrowful time, But " let not your heart be troubled..." as given to us in John 14 chp, vs 1-6. Be comforted at this time. To the Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church family, I know you will miss your beloved pastor and, that you grieve for him as well. However. I thank God for the time that he served as your pastor, and the everlasting love that he left behind, that Agape Love. May God bless you, comfort you, and in due time, send you another pastor, after HIS OWN Heart."Be of good cheer..."

It has sadden I and my wife that my first cousin, Charles has past; but we believe that he lived a good life. He served the USA with his military service; fathered two child and raised them the best he could. He was always respectful to I and my wife even though he practiced Christianity and we practiced Islam. We pray that Allah (God) will have mercy on him as he waits in the grave for the Resurrection and when Judgement Day comes, that Allah (God) will grant him entrance into Heaven! The Prophet of Islam, Muhammad ibn ‘Abdullah of 1400 years ago said, 'The grave is the first stage of the journey into eternity'. May Allah (God) grant peace upon his daughters, his father and his siblings during their time of mourning!
