Clinton Reid Obituary
Augusta, Ga.—Sergeant Clinton Reid entered into rest on May 5, 2020. A private graveside service will be held to celebrate his life. Clinton was a U.S. Army veteran. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, brother, Nathaniel D. Reid; sister, Christine (Bobby) Cole; stepdaughter, Sabrina (Courtney, Sr.) Rose; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, five aunts, two uncles, friend and companion, Diane Mayes and a host of other relatives. MY FIRST MEMORIES OF CLINTON WERE FROM MY SUMMERS COMING DOWN FROM NY TO VISIT MY FATHER'S FAMILY. CLINTON WOULD ALWAYS STEP IN WHEN I WAS BEING TEASED BY HIS OLDER BROTHER. SINCE MY RECENT RE-LOCATION TO AUGUSTA OUR PATHS CROSSED AGAIN AT THE VA. I WOULD SHAKE HIS HAND AND HUG HIM EACH TIME I SAW HIM AT THE VA. I WAS GLAD THAT HIS SISTER WAS ABLE TO BRING HIM HOME TO HELP HIM CONTINUE HIS REHABILITATION AND TO SEE HIM DOING SO WELL AFTER HIS ILLNESS. I AM SORRY I DIDN'T GET THE CHANCE TO VISIT WITH HIM AT HIS HOME. I WILL MISS HIM. LOVE YOU COUSIN.
