Debra Templeton

Templeton AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, August 17, 2016, Ms. Debra "Debbie" Dressel Templeton, age 60. Ms. Templeton was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta Georgia. In addition to loving her four children, she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 15 years. Ms. Templeton was known for the love she displayed for everyone in her family and those she cared for in her career. She also listened to James Taylor with great delight. Family members include sons: Keenan F. Templeton (Lisa) of Evans; Samuel J. Templeton of Augusta; and John W. Templeton of Metter, GA; daughter: Abigail D. Templeton of Augusta; three grandchildren: Addison, Lucas and Noah; brother: Bobby Dressel; and sisters: Cay Hopkins and Pam Redd. Ms. Templeton was preceded in death by her father: Robert J. Dressel; mother: Edna H. Dressel; and her sister: Sandy Green. A memorial service will be Sunday, August 21, 2016, 3:00 P.M. in the chapel at Thomas Poteet & Son. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 190 Knox Abbott Drive, Suite 301, Casey, SC 29033.
