Diane Cobb Smith

WADLEY, Ga. - Mrs. Diane Cobb Smith, age 65, of Charles Smith Rd., Wadley, died Monday morning at her residence. Mrs. Smith, born in Washington County, was a member of the Moxley United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and other organizations in the Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Georgia Poll-ettes and a homemaker. Funeral services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at Moxley United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Andy Edwards, Clint Smith, Andy Cobb, Michael Cobb, Keith Hall, Tony Snavely, Barry Cobb, Donnie Cobb and Williams Harris. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Thomas Jefferson Academy Memorial Fund at 2264 Hwy. #1 N, Louisville, GA 30434 or the St. Joseph United Hospice of Augusta at 2260 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta, GA 30904 or to the Moxley United Methodist Church in care of Wynder Smith, 2186 Pete Smith Rd., Wadle y, GA 30477 in memory of Mr. Diane Cobb Smith. Survivors include her husband, Charles Smith of Wadley; daughter and son-in-law, Lynne Smith Oglesby and husband, Chris of Wadley; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Smith, Jr. and wife, Melinda of Wadley; brother, Jerry Cobb of Louisville, GA; three sisters, Joyce Stavely of Louisville, Faye Harris of Gulf Breeze, Fla. and Linda Hall of Bartow, GA and grandchildren, Jennifer, Adam, Betsy and Tom Oglesby, Brittney, Kristen, Charlotte and Charles Tripp Smith.
