Gladys Turman

MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Gladys Cunningham Turman, a resident of Martinez, Ga. and a former resident of McCormick, SC, died at Doctors Hospital, Augusta, GA on April 25, 2015. She was born in McCormick, SC, a daughter of the late Luke and Vera Norman Cunningham. She was a graduate of Mims High School, a member of the Macedonia Fire Baptized Holiness Church and was employed as a Home Health Aide with the Willows Assisted Living Company. Survivors are a daughter Ms. Valarie Marshall and a son Gregory Turman, both of Augusta, GA; brother, Nathaniel Cunningham of McCormick, SC; sisters, Ms. Izola Mims, Mrs. Virginia Arnette, Mrs. Patsy (Billy) Rhinehart, all of McCormick, SC and Ms. Edna Robinson of Aiken, SC; five grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death was a daughter Judy Gowdy, a son Jared Turman, two brothers, Charles Cunningham and James Cunningham. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Macedonia F.B.H. Church with the Pastor Rev. Larry Benson officiating. Interment is in the church cemetery on Post Road in McCormick County. The family is at the home of a sister Mrs. Patsy Rhinehart at 101 Charles Avenue Apartment A-2 in the Bell Ridge Apartment Complex. Walker Funeral Home Directors
