Dear Robert, Butch and Gail,
You know how fond I was of your father. I shall miss him so very much. I will always remember the coffee times we had every Thursday, after I cleaned the house. I will also miss seeing him at church on Sunday. My prayers and love are with all of you.
Love, Christy

BUTCH AND BOB,
WE ARE SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE LOSS OF UNCLE HOWARD AND SHARE YOUR SADNESS. I HAVE A LOT OF GOOD MEMORIES OF UNCLE HOWARD AND AUNT BETTY WHEN I WOULD COME DOWN AND SPEND A FEW WEEKS DURING THE SUMMER WITH THEM. YOU WOULD NOT HAVE BELIEVED THE PATIENCE UNCLE HOWARD HAD WHEN HE AND BOB WHERE TRYING TO TEACH ME HOW TO WATER SKI. I CAN'T REMEMBER HOW MANY TIMES HE HAD TO TURN THE BOAT AROUND AND COME BACK AND GET ME, BUT HE NEVER LOST HIS COOL WITH ME. THE TIME WE ALL WENT TO ST. AUGUSTINE ON VACATION, AND THE OTHER TIMES AT THE LAKE WILL BE GOOD AND FUN MEMORIIES I HAVE OF THEM FOR A LIFETIME. SORRY WE CAN NOT BE THERE FOR UNCLE HOWARD'S SERVICES. PLEASE TRY AND TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT BUTCH AND I WILL BE THINKING OF YOU AND THE REST OF THE FAMILY DURING THIS TIME AND IN THE FUTURE. ---SUE HARRIS
