Uncle Bobby, Valeria, Mickey & Brian..We rejoice with you in Aunt Boots' homegoing. I can remember her praising the Lord since I was a mere child..Her favorite phrase was,"Sweet Jesus" and she meant it. She always showed compassion and concern for others and she loved you all dearly. I appreciate her support when Daddy passed on, even though she struggled with walking then. She was special and she is missed. She leaves behind a wonderful family and I am blessed to have you. See you soon...Uncle Bobby, she will be with you for your surgery and remain in our hearts until will join her. Love Kathy, Jerry, Michael, Angie, Austin, Tristen and Micaela...

Uncle Bobby, Val, Brian, Mickey,I am so sorry to here about the lose of Aunt Boots. I was really praying that I would be able to see her and you all the end of this month when I traveled down to SC to my parents. I have to agree with what my brother Ray wrote. The memories that I have of Aunt Boots are pleasant memories. I would have to say that my Aunt Boots had the most contagious laugh that I have ever known. When she laughed everyone laughed with her. She could put a smile on anyone's face. I still can picture her beautiful face with that beautiful smile. She will be geatly missed by me. I am sorry that my kids and husband did not get to meet her in her life her on earth, but we know that the day will come that we, as Christians, will all meet again in that glorious place, Heaven, to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus and our loved ones that have passed before us. Thank you Jesus for eternal life through You. My prayer is that the Lord's Holy Spirit will comfort you all through this time of mourning. Trust is Him and lean on Him for your every need. I love you all and hope to see you at the end of May.

Bob,Brian,Micky and Val, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember the first time I meet your mom, Candy Hammett (my sister) said this is Aunt Boots and she said no my name is Janie. But anyways her name isn't what I remember most about her.It was the way she made me feel like I was family. She was such a warm welcoming person and I realy liked her. You may not have her anymore but I'm sure she left behind alot of memories for you guys to share. She is now with the good Lord above but she will always be in your heart. God Bless you all.

Uncle Bobby, Valerie, Mickey, and Brian my heart and prayers are with you all. I’m truly sorry for the loose of a wife and a mother. I know from what others have told me she preferred to be called Janie but I only knew her as Aunt Boots so these are my memories of your wife, your mother, my Aunt Boots. Whether it was your family coming to visit us or mine visiting yours, I remember her hugs they were good hugs, they were the kind of hugs that made you want to shy away as a child and turn your face red as a teenager. As I have become older I know these hugs were true type of hugs and that can only given from the heart. I remember her smiles and laughs. Her smiles would come as if she just caught you out of the corner of her eye doing something mischievously wrong whether you were or not; I remember when our families would gather at a table or somewhere to talk, reminisce about the old times, and laugh. And out of all the laughter you knew when Aunt Boots laughed. It was a good genuine laugh.

I hope in this time of mourning my memories will help you all and understand that even though we haven’t seen each other for many years Aunt Boots will be missed by me, my family and many others. She is now in our Lord’s Paradise relaxing, smiling, laughing, handing out good hugs and watching out for all. Thank you for the memories.

God be with,

You know how we felt about Janie.

I can't put into words how I feel.

Know that if there is anything at all that we can do to help ease the pain of the the present moments, we are here. She is in the arms of the Lord. No more pain, no more tears. She is happy, and smiling down on all of us saying... "You had better live a life thats good so you can come up here and join me". With our deepest sympathy.
