When I visited same time as Celia McWee, I remember Jerry as the perfect gentleman. And how he could respond to humor with humor and yet with innocence and respect for ALL, I'll never know.

What I remember the most, when I was there at least (when the chidlren and grands, other family members were not there):

I remember Jerry ONLY had eyes, ears and a heart for his MOTHER!

All my deepest sympathy, respect and heartfelt prayers for everyone who knew and loved Jerry--especially his mother, Celia who loved him with the heart of God in human form.

I know his life, death and goodness were not, are not, nor ever will be in vain. It is now up to those who remain to tell of the goodness and life Jerry embraced despite his hard knocks and to live with the wisdom Jerry, God and your other elders teach you with love.

Love has no boundaries. With love even the gentle sweetness of a kiss can travel thru time endlessly and sweep fearlessly thru any man made obstacles. Not even the strongest brick, mortar or glass could contain or prevent the power of love to reach from one spirit to another. Love is and always remains the most beautiful of gifts ever shared.
