My heart goes out to you and your family because I know how deep the pain is. We lost our daughter Mallory on Mother's Day last year in a horrible crash. I still feel like it was all a bad dream and we will never be the same. Knowing what your family was having to go through, I felt like I was reliving everything all over again. I'm sure you already know how even the littlest things can cause a flood of memories to come crashing in on your thoughts. It can be so painful at times, at other times so comforting. Having Jesus in my life, having my family and friends, and knowing that I will see Mallory again is what keeps me going. I pray that the Lord will also comfort you and keep you close.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Betty, Kelly, Paul,& all Jessica's family.
There are not enough words to express my condolences for your loss.I always admired Betty & her family, and especilly Kelly & Paul for being the Christians they are. After I left The Forest Hills
Grille, I had to get my own life back on track with God and only He
has given me the strength to endure the accident my Mother was
killed in 7 years ago.In the 10 years I worked at Lowes, I would see Paul & the boys occasionally &
would always ask about the rest of the family.I have been sick now for 2 years and unable to work. I was sick when Leon passed
and back in the hospital when Jessica passed.I was discharged on
Friday and had my husband take me by the gravesite and said my prayers for you all there.I won't
tell you it will get easier, but God will give you renewed strength
each day to get through this and He
will add His special healing to the pain. My heart aches for all of you and I pray daily that God will
comfort each and every one of you in his own special way.

not perish,but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Kelly, I use to work with you at mcg dental school. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember attending the funeral for Danny,and how sad that was. We are so sorry for you loss. There is nothing worst than the loss of a child. The pain and the personal loss are overbearing. We know and feel your pain; we lost our son Michael in December. He was the UGA student that died suddenly from meningococcal disease on December 1, 2007. The pain will ease, but you will never forget her precious life. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Paul and Kelly, Like so many others we were shocked and saddened by the news of Jessica. Time has passed when we all lived on Bit Ct. and the girls played together. My daughter is a KD at Ga. Southern. She along with all her sisters are truly crushed. I lost my oldest son two years ago and I know the grief this brings to you. I am so sorry for your loss. My daughter was at the hospital when Mr. Ikner came out and told the girls. He said some the most wonderful things about Jessica. It made such an impression on my daughter. This poem helped me when I lost my Jeremy. I pray Jessica did not live or die in vein. May her memory live on.. God Bless and My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Family of Jessica Fulmer: Jessica and I became friends during high school and remained friends the first year or so of college. During those years I immersed myself in things that I knew I should not be in the midst of. The Lord changed my direction and called me to the ministry not long after graduating high school. I now minister to addicts and alcoholics in the northwest Georgia area. I thank God for Jessica and the friend that she was to me during those years. My prayers are with the family.
