My sincere sympathy in the death of
John Edward. I remember him as a
young child of 12 or 13--a cousing-
growing up in rural Scotland County. I have not seen him since
because of our family moving to other cities or town and just simply losing touch. I know that
John Edward is in a better place and at peace and certainly no longer in pain.
I hope to meet some of his own immediate family Saturday at our annual Family Reunion.

I guess my first memory of John was of him walking me home in the rain. He used his Army jacket to cover me up to keep me dry and warm, while he got soaked. There are just so many more, I really don't know where to start.
