John Edward Rumbin

LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. - John Edward Rumbin, age 82, formerly of Wadsworth Court, Grovetown, died Monday, April 7, 2003, at the Heritage Hall Care Center in Lawrenceburg. He was the son of the late George Rumbin and Anelle Koshis Rumbin. He was born April 30, 1920 in Ansonia, Connecticut. He was retired from the United Sates Army after 21 years of service, a 10 year store detective for the Post Exchange and a member of the Worldwide Church of God in Augusta. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Litzinger Rumbin; a daughter, Katherine Vallance and her husband Dr. Steven R. Vallance of Lawrenceburg; and a grandson, William L. Ogletree II of Lawrenceburg. He was preceded in death by a son, Mark John Rumbin. Contributions are suggested to the St. Joseph Hospice in Augusta. No services are scheduled. Mr. Rumbin was cremated.
