Joseph Mays Obituary
Augusta, GA.—Mr. Joseph Mays Jr. entered into rest on September 2, 2020. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Walker Memorial Park with Elder Willie Boyd Sr. officiating. He is survived by his sons, Joseph Mays III and Ronald Scurry; mother, Deavidene Mays, uncles, Johnny Mays, Albert Mays, Paul Frazier and David(Uline) Frazier; aunt, Elizamae Frazier and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Mays may be viewed on Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

My little brother. It is so hard to put into words how I am feeling right now. I can’t believe you are gone. From the first day we met when you were around five or six you were always in my heart my little god brother. I’m going to miss our talks, oh how I wished that you answered the phone the week before you left us. My last opportunity to tell you that I loved you. Well you knew that I did. Sleep well my little brother, until we meet again❤ Love you forever.

I remember Joe when we were working at Corky Bell restaurant back in the day. It has being a long time. My deepest sympathy. He was very friendly. I remember him always wearing the big gold chain necklaces.

To the Mays family, I am so sorry for your loss, it is so hard to grasp and believe this is the best friend I've had for years sense he worked at Red Lobster, just seeing Joe a week and a half ago in Walmart. It is so hard to put into words what I am feeling and the pain that I am enduring. Ms. Mays (mom) I am so loss for words, I pray that father God gives you the strength you need to get through this time of sadness, my prayers are with you and the family.
