We are sorry to learn that Julian is gone. Decades ago, he & I were buddies in the North Augusta Jaycees, and for years after that. What a good friend he was, and a brilliant man, and an amazing community leader. Best wishes to all.

Julian was a real gentleman plus an outstanding business man. We both grew up in Aiken. His wonderful mother(Bessie) and my mother were best friends. Once in awhile, Julian & I would meet for lunch at Augusta's Blue Sky cafe. We never talked business, but family. Few likely, know he dedicated a suite in an Augusta hospital in honor of his parents(Geddings & Bessie) or that he and his brothers donated a large tract of land in Aiken for a children's playground. Yes, Augusta will miss Julian Osbon.
