Madge Page

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Madge Ozburn Page, 89, entered into rest Saturday, September 10, 2016 in the arms of her loving husband, Malcolm I. Page, of 57 years. Mrs. Page grew up in Atlanta, GA and while working as an Executive Secretary to the Chief of the Communicable Disease Center she met her future husband. They married two years later and resided in Cooperstown, NY and Chicago, IL, but according to her desire they returned to her beloved Georgia in 1972. In 2000, she graduated from Augusta State University with honors in History. Family members, in addition to her husband, include her sons: Malcolm I. Page, Jr. (Amy) of Plant City, FL and Leo C. Sutter III (Sherry) of Acworth, GA; son-in-law: Benn Goddard; and grandson: Brian Goddard of Raleigh, NC. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Goddard. Her family remained the pride of her life. A memorial service will be Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 3131 Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30909.
