Nicole Payne Obituary

Jonah Payne WARRENTON, Ga. - Nicole Kay Payne, age 2, and her brother Jonah James Payne, age 3, entered into rest Saturday, April 23, 2005 in Warrenton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 30, at First United Methodist Church, Main Street, Warrenton, with Rev. Ted Miller, Rev. Rob Bray, and Brother Bill Raley officiating. Burial will follow at Scruggs Cemetery, Norwood. Nicole and Jonah will lie in state for one hour prior to the funeral services. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home Friday, April 29, 2005, from 7-9 PM. Jonah was in the Pre-K program at M.E. Freeman Elementary school, and they both attended First United Methodist Church. Survivors include their father, Dennis Payne, and their mother Lottie Kain, both of Warrenton; their paternal grandmother Cora Eldridge, and two brothers, Daniel Payne and K.C. Payne, all of Mesa Ariz. They were preceded in death by their paternal grandfather, Glenn Payne. Pallbearer s will be Daniel Payne, David Payne, James Jones, K.C. Payne, Aaron Parrish, Bill Raley, John Johnson and Bobby Whitaker. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Nicole and Jonah Payne Fund, c/o First Citizens Bank, 488 Main Street, Warrenton, GA 30828. Lowe Funeral Home, 77 West Gibson Street, P.O. Box 488, Warrenton, GA 30828, is in charge of arrangements.

My prayers are with you. I pray that God will comfort you in this hour of bereavement. Always know that God will not put more on you than you are able to bear. Hold on to Gods hand. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning. I just wanted to let you all know that my heart was truly broken over the loss of Jonah & Nicole. Even though I didn't know them it has really affected me (especially as a mother) You are in my prayers and thoughts daily. May God comfort you at this time.

Lottie and Dennis, I was so sorry to hear about Joanah and Nicole. Dennis I know that when you quit working with Chuck we did not get to see you all anymore. But I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We all loved Jonah and Nicole so much. Jonah had become like one of our kids. I remember when I took you to pick up Lottie and Nicole from the hospital, when we got to my house Jonah was asleep right beside Chuck and he spent the night.

I am sorry I missed the funeral, me and the kids had went on a field trip with the school.

Please know that we are thinking of you all.
