Peggy Prescott

BELVEDERE, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Peggy Prescott, 96, who entered into rest November 29, 2016, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. Father Geoffrey Coupland officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends in the Church Parish Hall one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Prescott was born in Birmingham, Alabama, but she was a native of Springfield, SC. She had made her home in Belvedere since 1954, until her recent move to Mount Pleasant, SC. She was a homemaker until her children became young adults and then she decided to return to work in the retail field. Mrs. Prescott was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Alfred M. Prescott and a son, Thomas C. Prescott. Survivors include three sons, C. A. "Cap" Prescott and his wife Mady, Mt Pleasant, SC, Roy W. Prescott and his wife Susan, Charleston, SC, Jon R. Prescott, North Augusta, SC; 7 grandchildren, Bryan K Prescott, Portia Prescott Radocha, Robin Prescott Berkey, Michael Prescott, Tyler Prescott, Carrie Prescott, Corey Prescott; 10 great-grandchildren, Anna, Will and Evan Berkey, Tyler, Lucia, Susanna, Henry, Lydia, Benjamin, and Grace Prescott. Pallbearers will be Woodrow Binnicker, Joe Rogers, Bryan Prescott, Michael Prescott, Corey Prescott and Tim Berkey. Memorials may be made to St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, 471 W.
