Charles and I met Bob Lamar at an engagement party honoring Elizabeth and Gray's upcoming wedding in Augusta, GA. When we left the wonderful event hosted by their friends, I turned to Charles and said, "Bob Lamar is a true Southern Gentleman". And everytime we saw him for the next 10 years, it only reinforced my first impression.
