An excerpt from "My Tribute to My Grandma" read during her funeral.
The words "my grandmother" do not even come close to describing how much she meant to me.
In my thirty-six years, she's been my second mother, my taskmaster, my confidant, my spiritual advisor and, sometimes, even my loan officer. She taught me an awful lot, perhaps more important lessons than I learned in all of my formal education. She had the patience of a saint and more love than any one person I have ever known. I have seen the eyes of an angel they were my Grandmas eyes. I love you from head to toe she would always tell me. And I always felt that was something especially for me. I know she said it to my neices and nephews and to my own children but to me it was our special saying. Up until her time of passing she still spoke those words to me. And Grandma I know that you are still saying them. I will always know you are looking out for me and my family. We love you from HEAD to TOE! Love, Pamela Michelle
