Sara Wyman Obituary

AIKEN, S.C.- Sara Brunson Wyman, 78, of Aiken died April 18 at home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. David Cozad and the Rev. Martha Ebel officiating. Interment will follow at Historical Bethany Cemetery, downtown Aiken. Mrs. Wyman was born in Memphis, Tenn. to the late William Lawrence and Will Beryl King Brunson. She was a loving mother, member of First Presbyterian Church, Pine Needle Club and Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Henry Dibble Wyman. She is survived by her loving children, Sally Wyman Brodie, Aiken, Susan Wyman Haden, Rutherfordton, N.C., Kathy Wyman Saunders, Aiken, Marion Hay Wyman, Augusta, and Neill Whitelaw Wyman, Aiken. Other survivors include 15 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Memorials may be directed to Thornwell Children Home, P.O. Box 29325, Clinton, S.C. 29325 or a charity of choice.
