Shannon, Ive been crying for days. I cant believe life can be so short. Your in heaven watching over all your family and friends. You were such a unique person, and I just cant believe your gone. I remember when we first moved to Mitchell, you were Alex and Emilees first friend. Samantha was my friend and we would all just get together and have a great time. You could always find ways to make us laugh. You loved to get Flip to chase us around, LOL, and you were just a great all around person. You are greatly missed. To all the family, I am praying for you guys. This has to be one of the hardest things to ever have to go through. Shannon will be missed tremendously by all her friends. She's someone that will be hard to forget for she has left footprints in our hearts. A warm and loving girl she was, we all loved her for her unique-ness and for her way of making anyone laugh without the slightest bit of effort. She was an angel and now, shes up in heaven watching over us, waiting till its our time to meet once again.
We love you, Rhodes. I'll miss having JROTC with you and making fun of SGM Willie Boston as you loved saying his whole name. heh.

Shannon was an amazing person. She always told me funny stories in physics class. We became really good friends in the 9th grade. She was always in a cheery mood and could make you laugh when you were feeeling your worst. I will miss you shannon ohh so much. i love you. Your in a better place now. I just found out about shannon today since i've been sick all week. Shannon was in one of my classes and we partnered up a couple times she seemed like a outgoing and loving person and it is tragic to hear about this. I am sure she is in heaven right now surrounded by angels. I will pray for her and her family.

She was caught up to jesus and it wasn't a mistake. He needed her more, he didn't mean to cause your heart to break. She was an angel, but she came to earth and put on a disguise. She was ready to go back home you can see it in her eyes. Her Angel wings were broken, and she landed here on earth for just a season. Nothing that god does happen without a reason. She fought hard to stay for the her loved ones, because she didn't want you to cry. But God repaired her broken wings so she could mount up like an eagle and fly. To a place called heaven, where she would never have to worry about tomorrow. She's waiting on you one day, so you to can live life without sorrow. I Hear her whispering saying please don't shed another tear.Jesus is taking care of me and it's no need to fear. So smile for her, because she's no longer in pain. She's left this troubled world behind, because she had Heaven to gain.

It is heartbreaking to hear of your loss. I remember Shannon as Chad's first girlfriend. You and I watched over our "young one's" as they celebrated the Christmas Season together and exchanged gifts. Chad gave Shannon a necklace with two charms on it; a Guardian Angel and Saint Christopher. May GOD be with you and your family in your darkest hour.

My daughter Olivia and Shannon("little bit") were classmates for many years and we have many memories of them playing c-team softball together. I can see her now jumping out of the batter's box and saying, "Did you see how fast that ball was coming?" We will always treasure our memories and hold Shannon close to our hearts.

I had the privilege of teaching Shannon in the Fourth Grade. She was the cutest little thing with all those freckles!! She was always happy and smiling. Since we moved I haven't seen her, but I can still remember that sweet little face in my classroom. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine. My son,Will, was Shannon's classmate and he always thought a lot of her as well. Your family is certainly in our prayers. May you feel God's presence as He comforts you during this most difficult time.

I never really knew her. Jrotc and I knew who she was by that. Im a freshman I havent really had time to get to know anyone. I know what its like to loose someone very close I lost my brother last year he was 11. He would be 13 in February. Also my best friend whe I was in 7th grade. Its hard but god is with us. She will be taken care of all our loved ones. . Everyday is another day. I believe that she would want people to keep living your life. One day you will be with her. I met Shannon when I worked at Winn Dixie with you years ago. I had the opportunity of getting to know her as a teenager when she went to Lakeside last year. Your all in our thougts and prayers. I did not know shannon well, but i lived down the street from her and i can remember when Shannon and Penny would follow my sister Lacy and Samantha around our home, hoping to get to hang out with them. They would come down the stairs and tell mama, they just wont let us in thier room, and head back up the street to play with themselves.
