Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. from W. H. Mays Mortuary Chapel, 1221 James Brown Boulevard, Reverend Dr. Gregory M. Fuller, eulogist.

Dear Chapman Family,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the death of Eric. Eric was my prom date at Brainerd Jr. High and High School in the 9th and 11th grades. I remember him to be the sweetest and dearest gentleman and a beautiful soul. Thank you for sharing the gift of his life to the world.

When our son called us in 1985 and told us that he was at Emory with the son of two BTW grads, and that they were friends, we were elated. When he called us to let us know about Eric's passing, we were shocked. We want you to know how much this news has saddened this family. We also want you to know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
