He was the best physician EVER!!! He always made you smile and laugh!!! He was my eye doctor and my husband's. When our oldest son was diagnosed with diabetes and did not want to be seen, he had him cracking up. I used to tease him and he always had a come back line that would make you laugh until you were in tears. We will miss him terribly. He was an angel in disguise.... Never saw him where he wasn't smiling or making someone laugh.
To his family- thank you for giving him to us where his personality left such an impact on us!

Growing up on Lake Forrest Drive next door to the White's, is a great childhood memory. Building forts in the woods, football in our front yard and using the lawns as a driving range. These are great memories and Billy, just a little older was the guy we looked up to, especially with football. The world is a little less gentle today with him gone. Our condolences and prayers are with you all now.

I've had the pleasure of being Billy's friend and colleague during his time in Augusta. He was a great physician, loved by his patients and respected by his peers. His outgoing personality and humor was enjoyed by all and he could lighten the mood of any situation. He will be greatly missed.

I so enjoyed working with Dr. White at The Eye Guys. He always made me smile and I so appreciated his humor. He's now riding that "big green tractor in the sky." Condolences to the family, I know you will miss him.

I last saw Billy White when we were at ARC together in the 1960s. But my most vivid memories of Billy are from our childhood, when we lived next door to him, his mom and dad, and his brothers, Martin and Phillip, on Lake Forest Drive in Augusta. They are all good memories - of a strong presence and a good person. May he rest in peace.

While I don't think I have seen Billy since we graduated from high school, I always liked him very much and have remembered him with respect and admiration. When I learned of his death, my immediate reaction was: Oh, no - not Billy!
My sincere sympathy goes out to his family.

Billy was a friend during the football days at Richmond academy. I always thought he was one of the nicest people I knew. Sorry he left us so soon. Julius Mann

Billy and I were childhood friends. In the Fifth grade at Forest Hills, Billy gave me his ID bracelet. On Friday night, I spent the night with my best friend. She talked me into giving the bracelet back at school on Monday morning. Guess who was wearing it on Tuesday. You are right. My Best Friend. Over the years when we would run into each other we would always have a great laugh over that story. Billy was my late husband's eye doctor and he was exceptionally kind and considerate to Bud's needs. He loved his Clark Hill and his family and will be missed by so many
