William Everett Yonce

BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. William Everett Yonce, 91, of Sand Bar Ferry Road, Beech Island, SC, who died December 10, 2005, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Rev. Ron Wasiluk and Rev. Mark Canipe officiating. Entombment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Yonce was a native of Aiken County having made Beech Island his home for the past 53 years. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and a Mason. Mr. Yonce was a retired timber and trucking contractor and farmer. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Althea "Doll" Yonce. Survivors include his wife, Jewell A. Yonce; a son and daughter-in-law, John "J.B." and Diane Yonce, Beech Island; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Roy Peacock, Lake City, Florida and Jackie and Don Magee, North Augusta; a sister, Elizabeth Harley, Chattanooga, Tennessee; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; three step-children, Gerald Goldman, Warrenville, William Kim Adams, Beech Island and Brenda Roberts, Brunswick, Georgia. Pallbearers will be Darrell Hughes, Rich Denkinger, Kim Adams, Brandon Adams, Curly Zimmerman and Larry Buff. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Monday evening from 7 to 9.
